THEATRE ROYAL, COVENT-GARDEN This present WEDNESDAY, May 9, 1821, will be acted the Tragedy of VENICE PRESERVED Duke of Venice by Mr. ATKINS, Priuli by Mr. EGERTON, Bedamar by Mr. CONNOR, Jaffier by Mr. C. KEMBLE, Pierre by Mr. MACREADY, Renault by Mr. CHAPMAN, Spinosa Mr. CLAREMONT Belvidera by Miss DANCE. At the end of the Play, Messieurs DECOUR and ESBRAYAT, will exhibit those Exercises of Grace, Strength, and Agility which have obtained for them the applause and astonishment of all the Courts of Europe. In the course of these Performances, Mr. ESBRAYAT, the Model for the Royal Academy of Painting and Sculpture at Paris, will give a REPRESENTATION of the Attitudes of the Apollo of Belvidere—the Hercules—the Fighting and Dying Gladiator—the Laocoon, and many other of the most Famous STATUES of ANTIQUITY.
